DIG into Mentorship is Infinity Rehab’s new mentorship program that supports Infinity’s vision in providing exceptional quality, value, and patient and customer experience. Infinity is committed to creating a culture that inspires employees to grow as leaders.

DIG into Mentorship extends a strong clinical foundation for those involved in the mentorship program and recognizes the benefits in developing leadership through innovation and education. Because of this, prior to providing mentorship to mentees, clinical fellows, or students, mentors will be required to complete specified mentorship courses. The courses will supply mentors with basic knowledge and tools to manage a successful mentoring relationship including, but not limited to: building rapport and self-awareness, values, encouragement, pursuing knowledge, growth, and supporting the professional development of those being mentored.

Infinity Rehab will be joining the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) in required changes to support mentorship standards by January 1, 2020. There will be a one-time mandatory course for all active mentors. Currently, Infinity Rehab is assigning courses to active mentors, to best prepare for the January 1 deadline. The mentorship courses will be completed through CEU 360 and ASHA. Mentors will log the course training time to the “mentor” as a non-patient care service in Optima to the facility where the mentorship is taking place.
