Quality Team Presented

at CoHSTAR
By: Patty Scheets
Date: May 28, 2020

The Center on Health Services Training and Research (CoHSTAR) is dedicated to advancing health services and health policy research in physical therapy. This year, the quality team had a poster accepted for their premier annual Implementation Science Institute. Although the face-to-face meeting was canceled, the meeting was rescheduled to a virtual conference including poster presentations.

The Infinity Rehab submission is focused on the work of the clinical knowledge brokers in the first phase of their work. These data demonstrate an over 50% improvement in skills of clinicians after working with a knowledge broker with both assistants and therapists performing similarly. Check out the poster which was presented on Monday, May 11.

CoHSTAR was initiated in 2015 and is funded by the Foundation for Physical Therapy. The center builds upon the established, broadly based, interdisciplinary, intellectually rigorous, and nationally renowned health services research and training infrastructure available at its trio of collaborating institutions: Brown University, Boston University, and University of Pittsburgh.
