Are you good at identifying and managing the needs of our long-term care patients? We want to know! You can let us know in UltiPro.
Long-term care (LTC) skill is a comprehensive ability to recognize that every individual who lives long-term in one of our programs deserves the right to do what uniquely matters most to them, including:
- Having freedom from pain and discomfort
- Maintaining personal appearance, hygiene, and regular routine consistent with the patient’s interests and wishes
- Having the opportunity to control the environment and make choices
- Having daily opportunity to interact with others
- Actively engaging in mobility and cognitive processes as capable
- Finding enjoyment from meals
- Reducing caregiver burden
- Experiencing joy
We are asking ALL clinicians who have skill in managing LTC patients to ADD THIS TO ULTIPRO by following this path:
Myself > Career & Education > Skills > Select “Long Term Care” via dropdown > Save
Why does it matter to log this in UltiPro?
By identifying yourself (or directors – your team members) as having LTC skill, we will be able to easily identify who our LTC specialists are all across the company to best offer those individuals the support they need to excel in their work and to best care for LTC patients in all our programs.
Thank you for your help on this important effort!
