Our first Shining Star this issue is Kiley Pinder, PT. Kiley works at Linda Vista Care Center in Ashland, Oregon.

Kiley follows the Clinical Model and adjusts patient treatment week by week, communicates with team members, patients, and family to provide the best care, and covered DOR responsibilities this last year with grace and professionalism.

Kiley is always willing to fill in for me as DOR while skillfully managing her caseload of patients. She stepped up and was our PT on the COVID unit twice this last year and did whatever was necessary for patients. Kiley is very proactive and one step ahead with planning and is very flexible to accommodate for whatever is needed in PT dept.

Kiley demonstrates clinical expertise, excellent judgement, outstanding communication, and a huge heart in developing and maintaining positive relationships with our Prestige team and with her patients and families, putting patient care and patient success first.

Our second Shining Star this issue is Jesus Soltero-Plaza, PT. Jesus works at Avamere Rehabilitation of King City in King City, Oregon.

Jesus is a team player, he is a great communicator, and is open to change. He is willing to look into other options and learn new things when needed.

Jesus agreed without hesitation to help a COVID facility this week as they have a PT on PTO. He consistently communicates with the other therapists in the facility to make sure we are providing the best care. He is flexible with his schedule to meet the needs at King City and other buildings too.

Jesus demonstrates a passion for the quality of peoples’ lives by adjusting his own schedule as needed, floating even to a COVID unit, and communicating with the rehab team and nursing to ensure the best care is being provided. I can see the Jesus is reaching to learn, grow, and embrace change as he has taken an opportunity to help at a local college during a lab for neuro. When he is unsure about something he seeks out help or does his own research. I am so grateful that Jesus has joined the team at King City!!
