Shining Stars

Our first Shining Star this issue is Anne Gomez, PT. Anne works at Mission Healthcare in Renton, Washington.

This therapist is particularly skilled at: adapting therapy tasks to be inclusive for all patient needs (whether they are dietary, physical, or cognitive).

I have seen this therapist “go the extra mile” by: putting together team-building events. She is great at setting up lunchtime potlucks (amongst other things) to ensure our team members get the recognition they deserve!

This therapist expresses and emulates the Infinity Rehab mission and vision in the following manner: taking time and consideration in her treatment approach to ensure her patients get the best outcomes she can provide.

Our second Shining Star this issue is Joan Brassfield, PT. Joan is an on-call PT in the Portland metro area who floats to Hood River Care Center in Hood River, Oregon.

This therapist is particularly skilled at: Seeing the big picture to help get the job done, anticipating challenges before they happen to streamline efficiency (ensuring EOM signatures are completed without request), and looking at evaluations holistically. Our DNS was very impressed with her looking beyond the patient and seeking out incident reports to really examine root causes of falls.

I have seen this therapist “go the extra mile” by: Literally coming to Hood River regularly despite living in the Portland Metro area.

This therapist expresses and emulates the Infinity Rehab mission and vision in the following manner: Being highly reliable for quality, trust to have a job well done. We enjoy Joan’s visits at Hood River. She is a lot of fun and we could not do the job we do without her insight and care.
