Our first Shining Star this issue is Martin Sudar, PTA. He works at West Hills Health & Rehabilitation in Portland, Oregon.

Martin goes above and beyond and gets to know his patients on a deeper level in order to help them get better.

A family member shared: “It was truly Martin’s influence and dedication to helping her improve her strength and mobility that helped change her attitudes and encouraged her to work harder to improve her situation. Martin saved her life. And almost more importantly, he has helped her to improve the quality of whatever time she has left. ”

Martin truly has a passion for the quality of other people’s lives and has shown time and time again his ability to work with our patients, embracing their differences, and working hard to help them regain skills.

Our second Shining Star this issue is Jeanne Lange, Administrative Assistant. She works in the OP2 Region.

Jeanne is our administrative assistant for the OP2 Region including Arizona, Colorado, and Nebraska.  Multiple times this year, she has uncovered critical information, previously unknown to us, related to insurance processes for certain HMO plans. Her attentiveness to detail, unstoppable quests for information, and determination to help the therapists navigate the system quickly is essential to avoid delays in our ability to provide outpatient services. Thank you, Jeanne, for your going the extra mile!

Jeanne goes the extra mile every single day, but her ability to get to the root cause of a complicated insurance system over multiple states is unparalleled and saves valuable time.

Jeanne demonstrates her ability to learn, grow, and embrace change with the utmost integrity. Through her diligence and outstanding customer service over the phone, she has developed valuable relationships with key members in physician offices, facility care staff, and family members, which allows the therapists to focus on their clinical skills. Jeanne inspires a shared vision as she conducts her daily routine so the emphasis remains on the client’s needs. Thank you!
