You now have the option to elect to receive your Form W-2 electronically. By opting out of paper and consenting to receive your W-2 electronically, you can:
- Receive your W-2 approximately ten (10) days earlier
- Reduce the possibility of identity theft
- Print your W-2 directly from the web and/or save as a PDF file on your computer
- Import your W-2 information directly into TurboTax
Electronic Form W-2 is compliant with IRS regulations and is covered in IRS Publication 15-A under the reminders section on Furnishing Form W-2 to employees electronically. The deadline to change to electronic Form W-2 for 2019 is January 10, 2020.
Here’s how to update your W-2 preference in Ultipro:
- On your dashboard, select the “Pay” section.
- On the right side, select “Change W-2 Consent Form.”
- Select how you’d like to receive your W-2.
- Click “save.”
If you make no changes, you will receive your W-2 in the mail and have an electronic copy in Ultipro.
