As the year ends, it’s given me time to reflect and be thankful for the journey we’ve been on the last year. Our teams have accomplished so many things this past year and grown leaps and bounds through enormous changes.

New leadership, new markets, new growth, and opportunities have expanded our footprint.

In March of this year, we acquired the Oregon Coast and Albany home health program from Samaritan Health Services. This phenomenal team has continued their outstanding services and partnership to enhance the life of every person we serve in these communities, and we are thrilled to be working with this team and servicing these communities.

This year we set out to partner with Meals on Wheels. We kicked off our partnership with the Stride for Seniors charity walk in April. In November, we partnered for a whole day to donate dinners at New Seasons market. In 2020 we will continue our partnership with this phenomenal organization and continue to share the mission to assist seniors in amazing ways, and I feel blessed to have been able to work alongside many of our wonderful team members for this great cause.

Just recently, our home health agency in Salt Lake City, Utah earned a five-star rating from CMS. Our hospice agency in the same city received outstanding state survey results featuring positive patient and caregiver feedback, ranking Signature’s hospice care above the national average in several areas.

Portland home health and Eugene home health passed their surveys with flying colors.

Home care in Medford and Eugene is seeing successful growth and continued success.

Ogden home health and hospice has grown and expanded their service areas.

Our teams across Signature Healthcare at Home have done amazing things, both big and small, to help us thrive. We have accomplished so much together this year, and I owe all of you a huge thank you for your efforts and focus on great patient care.

Thank you for all you do and continue to do to enhance the life of every person we serve.

May you have a wonderful holiday season and happy new year!
